Podcast room or production studio: which space do you need?

A simple way to pick between our podcast rooms and the production studio with the cyc wall, based on what you are actually making.

Pick a podcast room when the work is conversation

Our three podcast rooms are built for talking. Interviews, solo episodes, two or three people around a table, clean audio, and a tight camera setup that looks good without a crew. If the heart of the project is what people are saying, this is the room, and at a hundred dollars an hour it is the easy yes.

These rooms also work for short video clips, talking head content, and anything where you want to sit down, record, and leave with usable footage the same day. They are the workhorse of the building for a reason.

Pick the production studio when the work needs space

The production studio in the back has three flexible sets and a full cyc wall, the curved seamless white wall you have seen behind product and brand videos. Book this room when you need room to move, control over the background, or a look a small table cannot give you. It is a hundred and fifty an hour because it does more.

This is the space for product shoots, branded video, motion, and anything that needs a clean or controlled backdrop. If you are not sure your idea fits a podcast room, it probably belongs here.

When you are still not sure

The quick test is the background. If the background does not matter much and the talking does, book a podcast room. If the background is part of the message, book the production studio. Most projects answer themselves once you ask that one question.

And if it is close, tell us what you are making and we will point you at the cheaper room that still does the job. We would rather you book the right space once than the wrong space twice.

Pick the room around the shot you need, not the price. The right space makes the cheaper booking look expensive to skip.
